It is great fun to explore Ben Lomond Station by self-driving your 4 wheel drive vehicle. The farm roads are challenging but safe and involve several river crossings. A half day option is to drive to Ben Lomond Lodge, exploring Sefferstown on the way and returning to Queenstown. If you have a bit more time to spare take a day trip to Mt Gilbert Hut at the Stoney Creek boundary. Or you can explore the property at your leisure with a 2 day trip, with fully catered overnight accommodation at Ben Lomond or Moonlight Lodge.
